Last week, Chick-Fil-A president Dan Cathy confessed what many already knew; that when it came to being Anti-Gay Marriage, the company was 'guilty as charged'.
Yesterday, The Jim Henson Company commented. From the Official FaceBook page:
The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD. (http://www.glaad.org/)
Not sure if this ought to be posted here, but it's nice to see the JHC taking a stand; as a company that creates so many characters to promote love and acceptance in so many ways, I'd hope for nothing less.
Donating the money CFA gives them to GLAAD is a nice touch as well. :D
